Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte fears he will be out for weeks after suffering a hamstring injury.

Laporte already missed five months of the season before going down again in Wednesday's win over Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The club are not putting a timescale on the injury.

But Laporte himself fears an extended stint on the sidelines, according to Goal.

The game in Madrid was Laporte's fourth since returning from injury.
