Manchester City defender Eric Garcia could now reject a return to Barcelona.

Garcia had agreed terms with Barca last summer and was expected to return to his formative club at the end of this season with his contract expiring in June.

However, AS and Mundo Deportivo says the move is now in serious doubt after new president Joan Laporta chose to revise their pre-contract offer.

Barca are offering a new deal to Garcia on reduced terms.

And it's suggested there's now an increasing chance that the Spain international will reject the new proposal.
