Manchester City captain Ilkay Gundogan has been described as a magician by a teammate.

The German, who is in the goalscoring form of his life during the latter part of this season, scored two goals in the FA Cup final against Manchester United.

Gundogan, whose first was the quickest ever scored in an FA Cup final, will be hoping to lead his team to Champions League glory and a historic treble when they take on Internazionale on Saturday.

“A magician, a special player," City defender Ruben Dias told reporters when asked about Gundogan.

“This is my third season with him, so I know him quite well and what he's capable of - even though he's always able to surprise me and everyone.

“He's just an amazing player and an even better person."
