Manchester City defender Martin Demichelis is delighted to be playing again for manager Manuel Pellegrini.
Having worked closely with Pellegrini at three different clubs, Demichelis insists the 61-year-old possesses the qualities required to put City back on track.
"He is a manager who is always more calm than the players," Demichelis told the Sunday Telegraph. "Maybe we are too enthusiastic or excited and think less than he does, but he always finds the right answer and the right path for us.
"That is why I think he is a great group leader and manager.
"I have known him for a long time and we have been through difficult periods together, at River Plate and Malaga, and I am really sure he will find a way this time as well.
"It works both ways. He has faith in me, but I also have faith in him. Our manager, just like every manager, has to fix things if they are not going well and stick to things he thinks we are doing well.
"We are conceding too many goals in the Premier League and we have to stop doing that. But make no mistake, when he has to get angry, he does that very well. He is not always so calm.
"He gets angry when we do things that we haven't practised, but this is football.
"He says to us that we can lose a game if we have 10 clear chances and don't score a goal because that is the game, but he only gets angry when we do things that we have not practised during the week."
