Man City defender Aymeric Laporte coy about summer exit

Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte refused to answer a question over his future.

The center back has not enjoyed the best of campaigns on a personal level.

Despite City on their way to winning a historic treble, Laporte is unhappy at his lack of playing time.

Speaking after coming on in the 94th minute of a 2-1 FA Cup final win over Manchester United, Laporte told reporters: "Personally, much less than other seasons [enjoyed this term]. It's true that I've played a bit less but the most important thing is the team, the points, the matches and the trophies."

Asked about his future, he added that he “can't talk about these things."

His desire to leave may be great, but Laprote will still have to hope City can agree a fee with another club.

He does have two years remaining on his contract.
