Manchester City have held talks with Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini.
The Italy international is regarded among the best centre-halves in Europe and his agent, Davide Lippi, has met with City officials this week, says Corriere dello Sport.
For the moment, the summit was only an exploratory meeting, with City keen to determine Chiellini's enthusiasm in moving to England.
No offer - for now - has been lodged with Juve for the defender.
