Manchester City are confident Leroy Sane won't leave for Bayern Munich.

The Mirror says City believe Leroy Sane will snub Bayern Munich if the German giants step up their interest in the winger by making an official bid.

Sane returned to pre-season training last week and indicated he has no desire to join Bayern, despite the Bundesliga champions trying to lure him away from the Blues.

City value the winger at £100million – £30m more than Bayern president Uli Hoeness indicated they wanted to pay.

Pep Guardiola will not stand in the 23-year-old's way if he wants to leave – and Bayern meet the asking price. But City chiefs believe Sane wants to stay with the club.
