Manchester City coach Brian Kidd is convinced they're capable of winning the Champions League.
Kidd won the European Cup with United in 1968 – scoring on his 19th birthday in their memorable 4-1 win over Benfica at Wembley – and is convinced City will do the same.
City are entering their eighth season in Europe's top club competition, having reached one semi-final, one quarter-final and three last-16 rounds, and Kidd said: “The club will definitely win it.
"They've got the manager and the players. You need luck but with the set-up here, there's a manager that's done it and players that are good enough and hungry enough. They're a young group as well. Everything is set up for success."
