Man City clinch deal for Feyenoord midfield prospect Kongolo

Manchester City have reportedly won the race for Feyenoord midfield prospect Rodney Kongolo. The Mirror says City have won the race to sign Feyenoord starlet Rodney Kongolo, according to reports in Holland.

The exciting 16-year-old, who's older brother plays for the first team, is widely considered to be the next big thing to come out of Holland.

Kongolo was being tracked by a host of big clubs around Europe including Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain.

The Blues also had to fight off late competition from Liverpool to land the strong-running teenager dubbed the 'next Patrick Vieira.'
