Man City chiefs make Sancho transfer decision

Manchester City have ruled out seeking to re-sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.

The Mirror says City will not be taking up the option to match any offers for Sancho when a £100million bidding war for the England star kicks-off in the New Year.

City have first refusal on the teenage winger as part of the £8million deal that took Sancho to Germany in the summer of 2017.

But the Premier League champions have no interest in re-signing a player who went AWOL to force his departure from the Etihad.

City are looking for a replacement for Leroy Sane after failing to secure a new contract for the German international after rebuffing Bayern Munich's summer charm offensive for the injured winger.

But Sancho is not on their wish list.
