Manchester City have targeted Real Betis fullback Junior Firpo, according to The Sun.
With Benjamin Mendy out for two months after knee surgery, the Premier League leaders are on the look out for a replacement.
The Spain U21 international has been magnificent for Betis this season and scored in Sunday's remarkable 4-3 victory over Barcelona.
Reports broke this week linking Firpo with Arsenal, who are also desperate for a left-back.
However, Firpo is represented by the brother of Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.
It is believed that Firpo would be available for £44million.
