BILD says Guardiola is keen on Weigl.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder is on Guardiola's list as he eyes a new no.6 in the summer.
Weigl has impressed at BVB since joining from 1860 Munich.
However, City could find themselves shut out of a deal, with Real Madrid having an informal first refusal agreement with BVB on their best players - including Weigl.
