Manchester City and Celtic are chasing Ecuadorian wonderkid Jose Cifuentes.
The Sun says City want to sign the brilliant midfielder and loan him to Spanish club Girona because he would not get a work permit immediately.
But Scottish kings Celtic hope to beat them to the deal and offer Cifuentes, the star of Ecuador's Under-20 side, a move to Glasgow.
Work permit laws are less severe north of the border and Celtic have a great track record for bringing in players like Cifuentes.
They also hope to persuade him with the chance of Champions League football and chasing the Scottish title.
