Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says the tactical battle is what motivates him every day.
Speaking with Ara, Guardiola was asked how he maintains his motivation.
He said, "The fear of losing. And the same competition. And tactics. The reason I am a coach is the tactics. It's a game. What can I do with my players to win? It is the only reason that motivates me to go to training every morning. Sometimes I'm nervous about the game, I look at the opposition and say: 'You know, it's already done'.
"And I reassure myself because I already know what I will do tactically. This is the process. When we put together coaches, we started talking about the family, but after three minutes we are already: 'And how did you coach them?' It is the funniest thing there is."
