Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini will know today if Fernandinho can make their Champions League date with Barcelona.

Fernandinho, 28, has not featured for the Blues since their win over Tottenham at the end of January due to a thigh injury picked up in training.

Pellegrini said: "Fernandinho? Maybe if on Monday he is 100 per cent fit and if he does not have any scare about his injury, we will see if he can play.

"If there is any risk, they [any injured players] will not play. They have to be 100 per cent. If there is any risk of them being injured again, they won't play."
