Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he won't be watching Manchester United's clash with title rivals Liverpool.

Guardiola will be expecting his players to focus on the Carabao Cup final.

When asked whether he would prefer to win the final, or for Liverpool to lose a game that would hand the Blues a Premier League advantage with 11 games to go, he was unequivocal.

“City win," he said. “Once we are in the final, it is the most important game in the season.

“We know the Premier League is the most important one, of course the Champions League and the cup, but it is what it is.

“Of course, the Carabao Cup is the most important game, by far."
