Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits he doesn't know Cardiff City rival Neil Warnock.

Guardiola plans to have a chat with Warnock tonight following the Cardiff manager's criticism of the refereeing at the game against Chelsea on Sunday.

"I don't know him," said Guardiola.

"I saw him two times in my life and said hi but I don't know him so I don't know what I should say.

"Maybe tomorrow I can have a longer chat. Is there someone who cannot understand his reaction [to decisions on Sunday]?

"It is tough for managers, clubs, and players who want to stay in the Premier League. It is a big issue.

"We have empathy with his position, we can understand completely. You know my opinion.

"When you say good comments about referees you can be suspended so it's better not to say anything."
