Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola expects midfielders Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan will be ready to go as the club season resumes.
The two endured disappointment in Qatar at the World Cup with Belgium and Germany respectively.
Both Gundogan and De Bruyne's countries were eliminated in the group stages of the competition.
“My feeling is they are okay," said Guardiola as his side prepare to take on Liverpool in the League Cup on Thursday.
“Gundo had an extra few more days because he asked me, and Kevin came back soon because the family was here.
“They trained really well. Maybe some players will need a little more time. Maybe there will be fatigued in March and April, but I'm not able to know it."
