Man City boss Guardiola unsure of Sane plans

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola can't guarantee Leroy Sane will be staying.

Sane, who has been injured all season with knee ligament damage suffered in the Community Shield last August, is wanted by Bayern Munich.

Guardiola admitted he is powerless to affect Sane's decision over his future and said: “His knee looks good and after that it's none of my business. It's not in my hands what he does.

“It's a question for Leroy, the agents and the club.

“I'm not involved. What's important is that he has to recover well, that's the most important thing. He knows what we think of him, it depends on him.

“I've not seen him on the pitch, in the team or in his recovery, because he's been abroad.

“He's an nice person, I know him well. I was the guy who pushed for him to come here, even though he didn't play regularly for Schalke.

“But each person has own family, desires, dreams and I cannot do anything else.

“Where you are compared to three years ago is different to right now. I'm not the same guy, but I just want him to come back fit."
