Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has again spoken of their battle to find cover for Fernandinho.

City are scouring the market for a midfield addition this month.

And Guardiola explained, "It's so hard to find. He knows the Premier League after three years together here, he can do everything and that is so important. We need a player with physics, who can read which areas we want to attack.

"So many things he can do as much as possible. It's not easy to find a player who can do everything."

He added: "Yes, we have seen many. It is three or four that we look at, looking for someone at that position."
