Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola insists he has not thought about next season.

With City's European ban overturned, the club are likely to be active in the transfer window as they prepare to recapture the Premier League title.

But Guardiola insists his team are firmly focused on their Champions League last-16 tie with Real Madrid.

“I am not thinking about next season," Guardiola told the club's website after losing to Arsenal in the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday.

“We had two titles to fight for and we lost one.

“We have another one and once we have finished, we are going to think about what we have to do for the team."
