Man City boss Guardiola to hand ‘short’ Bravo derby debut

Claudio Bravo could make his Manchester City debut in this weekend's Manchester derby.

The Chilean goalkeeper, who joined from Barcelona in the summer, has only linked up with his new teammates this week for a couple of training sessions.

Nevertheless, Pep Guardiola is ready to throw him into the Premier League fray against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The Daily Express suggests that Bravo will start in place of Willy Caballero at the Theatre of Dreams in what is expected to be a derby full of fireworks and drama in what will be Guardiola and Jose Mourinho's coming together in England.

Despite being one of the shortest keepers in the competition at just 6ft, Bravo will be handed a baptism of fire against a United side consisting of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marouane Fellaini at 6ft4 and Paul Pogba and Eric Bailly who stand at 6ft3.
