Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is considering a shock January bid for Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez.

The Daily Express says Guardiola is keen to add the Chile forward if he fails to agree a new deal with the Gunners.

The former Barcelona man currently wants around £200,000 a week to commit his future to Arsenal…and also wants to see evidence that the club can mount a serious title.

Guardiola signed Sanchez from Udinese to Barca for £25million in July 2011.
