Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has backed Jurgen Klopp over his concerns with scheduling.
The Liverpool manager was critical of the amount of games over the winter period, with his team set to play eight times in December.
"I completely agree," said Guardiola. "Less games. Less fixtures, less competitions, more recovery.
"I didn't play Kevin [De Bruyne] Ilkay [Gundogan], David [Silva] - and Arsenal and Liverpool have done the same.
"The players who don't play regularly play more often [in the Carabao Cup] but it's too much."
