Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has urged Tottenham fullback Danny Rose to play for as long as possible.
Guardiola, who will meet Rose next Tuesday when Manchester City side travel to Tottenham for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final, said he will tell the full-back face-to-face that quitting is not the answer after he said he was fed-up with racism at stadiums.
"Danny Rose has not to do that," said Guardiola.
"Next Tuesday I will tell him, if I see him, the best way to fight is to come back from this situation is to be, fighting every day, and he's an extraordinary player."
