Manchester City are expected to soon learn of Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong's transfer plans.
City boss Pep Guardiola has identified the Ajax starlet De Jong as his No.1 midfield target.
But Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are both also pushing hard to sign De Jong and are prepared to outbid City when it comes to wages.
While Ajax - in the Champions League knockout stages for the first time in over a decade - are preparing to keep hold of De Jong, his agent insists a decision over his long-term future will soon be made.
Ali Dursun said on Thursday: “I think the choice may be made in the coming weeks.
"So that after the winter break all attention can be fully focused on football for months.
“Frenkie must be able to fully focus on that. He still plays with Ajax and the Oranje for so many prizes."
