Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says their Quadruple push - and the workload involved - is all about growing as a club.
Guardiola knows the pressure is on his team as they chase down more silverware and trophies, the fixture list is mounting up now but he claims they are ready to go further in this season's Champions League having gone out to Liverpool at the same stage last year.
He said: “If we want to make a step forward as a club, as a team, we have to know how to handle these situations. If we don't, it's because we are still not prepared [ready] to go through.
“The players push me and I push them every three days to try again. We are at this stage at almost the end of the season, in the winter of the season, and we know exactly what we are playing for.
“It's another competition now. We know how tough it is. All the eight teams are contenders to win this prize, this Champions League. It's the first-leg, a tough opponent, we know each other quite well. We are going to make a good game."
