Pep Guardiola is proud of how Manchester City have fought in the Premier League title race.

The Sky Blues looked gone before the festive break but have stormed back in recent weeks, with Sunday's win over Crystal Palace taking them to second.

"We fought a lot to be up there like many clubs and we will have to fight a lot to stay there," said Guardiola after the 4-0 win over Palace.

"It is a weird season. Everyone can beat everyone and it is difficult every game. I am happy for the players. It was a good performance, another win and three points."

Guardiola's side next face Aston Villa on Wednesday.
