Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has spoken of his admiration for Portuguese football.
City open their Champions League campaign tonight against Porto.
Guardiola said, "They (Portugal) are exceptional, they won the League of Nations, the number of players they have ... I am privileged to have some.
"I was developed with Couto, Baía, Figo, incredible professionals, immense talent, I loved them. I have great memories. I am Catalan and our climate, lifestyle, are similar.
"The Portugal team is incredible and one of the favorites for the Euros.
"Cristiano (Ronaldo) is one of the best in the world. Goalkeepers, centrals, wings, fullbacks ... People should be very proud of the quality they have."
