Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has spoken of how chooses new signings.
Guardiola admits "personality" is a key factor in assessing a potential incoming player.
He told Virat Kohli in a video chat: "The first thing we look at is the skills of the player, although I think personality is very important.
"You watch the skills videos, you play against them, if he is left-handed or right-handed, fast, short, strong on the aerial ball, he shoots well, with both feet or not. But everyone can see that.
"But to know exactly his personality - how he handles difficult situations or how he plays in important scenarios, in playoffs, how he reacts, if he overcomes bad situations ... will be more important.
"Personality makes the difference. Being a hungry competitor, you quickly forget bad actions and think positively about the next one. When you are able to find this in a squad, you are guaranteed to win. Skills? All players have it, not so many the mentality."
