Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola isn't dropping his pursuit of Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong.

De Jong is preparing to move from Holland in 2019 and has courted interest from across Europe - including Barcelona and PSG.

Indeed, De Jong's father has talked up a move to Barca.

However, Telefoot says City remain in contact, where Guardiola is driving the move.

The Catalan is convinced De Jong can fit seamlessly into his system and has made his addition a priority for next year.
