Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says Barcelona star Leo Messi makes his coaches better.
Messi once again wowed the football universe in the past week as he scored three free-kicks in the space of three games, with the third one coming in Barcelona's vital 1-0 victory over Atletico Madrid.
"I have the perception that [Messi] has improved every coach who has managed him," Guardiola said to Directv Sport.
"He has the ability to make everyone around him better."
Regarding the World Cup this summer, the Catalan has said that he wants to see coaches be brave at the tournament.
"[The quality of the World Cup] will depend on how brave the coaches are," he said.
"If they think about attacking, it will be a good World Cup.
"When you get to the quarter-final or semi-final it will be more difficult, but there are some coaches who believe that the best way of not losing is to be positive."
