Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has lauded rivals Tottenham Hotspur as "incredible" following their win over Newcastle on Saturday.

Spurs leapfrogged City with the 1-0 win, courtesy of Heung min-Son's late strike.

It was the third match in a row where Tottenham had scored a winning goal within the final ten minutes.

"Tottenham are incredible," said Guardiola after watching his side move above Spurs with a 3-1 win over Arsenal.

"Their mentality to fight and fight in the last minutes."
