Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits they face losing Leroy Sane.

Sane, who has two years left on his current deal, is Bayern Munich's top target this summer and the Bundesliga champions have been open about their desire to land him.

"We want him to stay because we tried to extend the contract for more than a year," Guardiola said. "We were quite close a few months ago but now it's a bit different.

"I want players who want to stay. It's impossible for me as a manager if his head is away from here. He hasn't told me anything.

"No player has told me he wants to leave. If he knocks on my door then we'll speak with the club."
