Man City boss Guardiola: I'm sorry for Gabriel Jesus

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola offered support to Gabriel Jesus after his injury nightmare.

The Brazilian has gone through with knee surgery to deal with an issue that popped up during the World Cup.

Jesus will miss up to three months of action for the Gunners, which could be a significant dent to their Premier League title hopes.

Speaking with reporters during his press conference yesterday, Guardiola said: “I am so sorry for Gabriel.

“I would prefer that he could play immediately with Arsenal. He's an important player for them, like he was for us.

“I want him to have an incredible and speedy recovery – I am so sorry for him because I know there isn't one person at this club who could speak badly about him. But he will be back."
