Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits he feels he's been failing every year.

Guardiola was questioned whether he considers the current season with his team to be a failure, considering their title defence is slipping away against Liverpool.

"Normally I have failed year after year since I achieved six titles in my premiere with Barcelona," shrugged Guardiola .

"After achieving that, I have failed year after year.

"It is something that I accept, I have no problem with it."
