Bersant Celina's form with FC Twente has sparked the interest of Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.
Having played a role for City during pre-season, the forward – who has made four senior appearances for City – was loaned out to Twente ahead of the transfer window.
The Daily Mail says his excellent form has alerted City staff, with a member of Guardiola's coaching team due to watch Twente's clash against PSV Eindhoven on Saturday.
The 20-year-old is expected to return to City next season to become a part of Guardiola's first-team plans.
And the City boss will receive regular updates on Celina ahead of his re-integration in his squad next season.
