Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is happy for Quique Setien after his appointment as new Barcelona coach.

Setien has succeeded Ernesto Valverde, who was sacked by Barca on Monday.

And Guardiola admits he was impressed by Setien when he previously brought Betis to England.

Guardiola commented, "He was here in Manchester. He and his staff were very friendly, it was a pleasure.

"I wish Quique Setién the best. His teams always play very well, especially when I followed him a little more, during his time at Betis."
