Man City boss Guardiola hails Germany's young coaches

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola insists he treasured his time in charge of Bayern Munich.

Guardiola says he enjoyed the German football culture during his three years in Munich.

"It's a well-organized league, with extraordinary stadiums that are getting full," he told Movistar+.

"It's a bit like England. You come to the stadium, where people wear the Bayern jerseys, sitting next to those who wear Dortmund jerseys.

"In Germany, there are much longer actions without a ball, it is played more in space."

Especially for his young, German coaching colleagues, Pep is full of praise: "There are younger coaches like Julian Nagelsmann in Hoffenheim or Thomas Tuchel, who is now at PSG. Although he has never trained in Spain, one would say: 'This guy is a Spaniard'."
