Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola states that John Stones will be available for England duty.
The defender was not involved for City in the past two games - two 5-0 wins - with Ruben Dias and Aymeric Laporte the starting pairing in defense.
Kevin De Bruyne, Stones and Phil Foden have all been absent for City as they recover from summer exertions.
However, Stones will be joining up with Gareth Southgate's England squad with Guardiola's blessing.
"John arrived late, and after we come back for the second game he had a problem in his leg, he was injured," said the City boss, per the Manchester Evening News.
"And this week was the first week he started training in the week. Ruben and Aymeric have played so its good.
"It's good for the national team - hopefully they can take care of him and he can take care of himself.
"And it will be important to maintain the training sessions, he needs and the rhythm playing with the national team will be good for us."
