Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was delighted with Kevin de Bruyne's performance for their 5-0 FA Cup win over Burnley.
De Bruyne continued his return from injury, producing a Man of the Match display, having claimed two assists in addition to his stunning long-range strike – his tenth goal from outside the box in all competitions since the beginning of last season.
Guardiola admitted the Belgian still needs minutes to regain his best form but is pleased with the playmaker's recovery.
“It's not easy when players have long injuries," he said. “That's why we tried to handle his minutes.
“Of course, we need him because he's so clever and aggressive in his game. He helps a lot."
