Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he needs Champions League glory to prove a real Premier League success.
The Spaniard is yet to steer Manchester City to a Euro semi-final — but his side are favourites for glory this season.
After being drawn against Tottenham in the last eight, Guardiola said: “When at Bayern we did not get to a final and I was judged.
"My standards are high and I have to reach it. I was judged in Munich in that way — so I will be judged here as well.
“What's important is the players, club, fans and people give credit if we are consistent and humble in every game.
“But I have to accept it. We won a lot in the past and that's why people believe that is normal — but that is not normal."
