Man City boss Guardiola blows fuse: The program in this country is madness!

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is angry by England busy Christmas and New Year schedule.

Guardiola launched his complaints after their 3-1 Carabao Cup semifinal first-leg win at Manchester United.

The manager stated, "We try to do our best, but the problem here is that you do not have time. We don't have time to catch up. Even myself. I do not have time to look at the team - we will meet and prepare for the next match. I don't have privacy. It's madness!

"It's too much, to be honest. And see for yourself how it is for the players.

"They have had two days off in the last 23 days. They need to be free. To feel healthy, they need mental and physical rest. This applies to all clubs. United have also played an incredible number of matches. I'm not just talking about City. All the teams struggle to find the rhythm. It's too much.

"We demand a lot from these guys. It's madness, to be honest. The program in this country is madness."

Guardiola added: "We don't have time to train. Five games in 12 days, tell me when we were training? Maybe 11 o'clock in the evening, but this program is not possible. It's just about taking an ice bath, eating and sleeping. That's it."
