Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was delighted with their 3-0 win at Fulham.
Sergio Aguero struck a second half penalty to add to earlier goals from John Stones and Gabriel Jesus at Craven Cottage.
“It was an important, brilliant victory," Guardiola said.
“In general, the game was really good, in a tough stadium. They arrived here in top form, they won at Anfield and have conceded few goals. They create chances. We controlled them well.
“We knew we had three games in three different competitions.
“We have eight games left now in Premier League and now we focus on the Champions League."
