Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola won't rule out a return to Barcelona.

Guardiola recently signed a new contract until 2025 with City.

The Catalan now says that under special circumstances he could return to Catalonia.

"If necessary I would return, but Pep left and the club continued to win. Nothing is comparable to Barcelona. If we have to meet again we will do it but in a natural way and now it is the turn of others," said Guardiola.

"Now there is the disappointment in the Champions League, but if we analyse the matches, they should have found a result against Bayern Munich and they lost at the last moment against Inter.

"The board has made an effort, because it is an outstanding squad and I feel bad that they are not there, but I prefer not to think about it."
