Pep Guardiola says Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta could've replaced him at Manchester City.
Arteta left City as Guardiola's No2 in December 2019 to take charge of Arsenal. The two teams meet tonight in the FA Cup.
Guardiola said, "I'm pretty sure he would have been here and been the best if I had left earlier.
"But I extended the contract, I'm sorry.
"He couldn't wait, so it couldn't happen – but it's clear (that he could have been City manager)."
