The Catalan's current deal expires at the end of the season.

Sport says Guardiola, with the Premier League in recess, is now in talks with City about a new deal.

City chief Txiki Begiristain and Guardiola are now in negotiations about a new deal.

And there is a confidence the manager will put pen to paper without any issues in the coming weeks.
