Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits his exit talks with Sergio Aguero were a tough experience.

Guardiola was asked if the discussion about Aguero's immediate future was tough, he admitted it was exactly that, and more.

“Of course it was difficult," said Pep.

“It was difficult with Joe Hart when I arrived. Joe didn't deserve it - but I had to make the decision and as a manager, we have to make decisions.

“It was not easy, but it was not hard because I have a good relationship with Sergio and what we decided is best for this club, it is simple.

“But we still have two months -and the two training sessions since he knew he was incredible.

“And he will help us between now and the end of the season."
