Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits Ederson is out of their trip to Liverpool on Sunday.

Ederson hasn't recovered from the injury suffered in the 1-1 draw at Champions League opponents Atalanta. Claudio Bravo will take his place.

Guardiola said, "He is not able to play on Sunday."

Asked how long Ederson would be out for, the manager continued: "I don't know. We have another top goalkeeper.

"We won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup thanks to Claudio Bravo.

"He is an exceptional goalkeeper and has played a lot of games for Chile. No doubts."
