Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson admits he's desperate to make a new striker signing this week.

After seeing youngster Danny Sturridge score his first goal for the club in Sunday's FA Cup defeat at Sheffield United, Eriksson admitted: "I can easily live with another striker, and we are in the market for one, and Sturridge. It's not a problem."
